  • Public records, resolutions and ordinances, minutes and other public information can be requested by submitting the Records and Information Request Form to the Village Clerk-Treasurer's Office. You may complete one in our office or download one and submit it via mail or our drop box at 913 S. Wisconsin Dr., Howards Grove, WI 53083

  • Two ways, either In-person or Mailed-in: 1) Stop at Village Hall and we can assist you in completing your registration. 2) Go online to myvote.wi.gov to complete your registration online. Complete and print out the form and return the printed form, along with proof of residency, to the Clerk-Treasurer's office.

  • In general, open burning is not allowed within the Village limits, except for small contained "camp" fires, burning only clean wood.   • We have two Shelters available for rent from May 1st to September 30 th, one at Memorial Park and one at Riverside Park. You may check availability of dates on the calendar on this website. To reserve one of the parks, complete the Shelter Reservation Form and submit the form and your rental fee to the Clerk-Treasurer's office.

  • Yes! You will need the following information: Name on the Sewer account, Property Address, your Phone number, Sewer account number, and the amount of your Sewer bill. There will be a service fee to pay be credit/debit card. Go to our Sanitary Department page for more information.

  • Wood chipping is provided as a service to Village residents on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from the second Tuesday in April to the second Tuesday in October (chipping is typically not done in November, December, January, February and March). Tree limbs and brush up to 6 inches in diameter may be left at the curb. Leave limbs as long as possible and have cut ends facing the street in a single layer. Please do not make a large pile of limbs as they may become entangled. Public Works employees may refuse to chip limbs that are difficult to handle.

    Please note that the Village does not chip brush for lots being cleared for building purposes or if you have removed an entire tree. This service is designed for the resident who is trimming branches. If you take down a tree, please have your tree service remove all of the branches.

  • Howards Grove contracts with GFL Environmental for curbside pickup of garbage and recycling. Garbage is picked up every Wednesday, unless a holiday falls on a Wednesday, then pickup day is on Thursday.  Recycling is picked up every other Wednesday, please see MAP.   Please have your garbage and recyclables curbside by 6:00 am.  Per Village Ordinance §323-13 containers need to be removed from curbside by 7:00 AM the day following designated pickup.  For more information contact GFL at 920-467-1218 or visit their website www.gflenv.com.

  • The term setback means the required distance separating a building or structure from a property line.   • Zoning changes require Planning Commission review and the approval of the Village Board. Applications to amend the zoning classification of a property must be turned in at least 30 days prior to the second Tuesday of the month to be scheduled for a Zoning Commission meeting.   • Beginning Mar. 4, 2013, the Village will again have a yard wastes dumpster available at the Public Works Garage, 1112 Alcott Avenue. The dumpster is available from 7am to 3:30pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 7:00am-7:00pm Tuesdays, and 8am to noon on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of each month. Please note the dumpster is not available on Fridays. The dumpster is for yard wastes, grass clippings, weeds, leaves, etc. Please continue to place 'woody' items such as tree trimming/branches up to 6" in diameter curbside for chipping on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
