  • Wood chipping is provided as a service to Village residents on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from the second Tuesday in April to the second Tuesday in October (chipping is typically not done in November, December, January, February and March). Tree limbs and brush up to 6 inches in diameter may be left at the curb. Leave limbs as long as possible and have cut ends facing the street in a single layer. Please do not make a large pile of limbs as they may become entangled. Public Works employees may refuse to chip limbs that are difficult to handle.

Please note that the Village does not chip brush for lots being cleared for building purposes or if you have removed an entire tree. This service is designed for the resident who is trimming branches. If you take down a tree, please have your tree service remove all of the branches.
