Starting this quarter, those paying online will notice an increase in the service / transaction fee attached to their payment. See the chart below for the new adjustment rate:
If you are paying the standard $170 sewer bill, you will be paying $8 for the transaction fee instead of the usual $7. Likewise, someone paying for a dog tag will have a $2.50 fee instead of $1.50.
Note that for Sewer / Refuse collection, you can sign up for ACH (you will need either a voided check or proof from your bank that the account is in your name) and have the payment drawn from your account at no extra charge. Here is the form.
REMINDER: Village Ordinance 335-10 requires snow removal from sidewalks within 24 hours. Clearing sidewalks helps ensure a safe environment for everyone, especially those who walk our community every day.
